SCHOOLS

Our overview of the school system in the DC,Virginia and Maryland areas covers Preschools, Public School, Independant Schools and School Qualifications.

It would be great to build up a list of schools that are attended by British kids and what you  ( and they!) think of them in comparison to their school back home.  Please send in your reviews to BESA

For information on the current continuity of education allowance, please see the Destiny Site.

Confused about schooling?
A BESA member and Mum has found a very useful website to help get you through questions and queries you may have regarding USA schooling. The site is called the Military Child Education Coalition but it is useful for all families. The site also has a question page called Ask Aunt Peggie, if you can't find an answer easily.
